Did An Eat: City Of Seitan @ The Amersham Arms, London UK ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

If you can rouse yourself from your hangover induced foetal position, a Sunday roast is a tasty way to tackle that banging headache and residual feelings of regret.

Word on the street: the The Amersham Arms offers a City Of Seitan Sunday menu so we headed on down to check it out.

The menu was a trimmed down version of their online line up ย and we were all slightly devastated to learn that the dreamy sounding Steak and Guinness pie wasn’t availableย ๐Ÿ˜ญย Just means we’ve gotta go back at some point which certainly isn’t a bad thing!

In the absence of Mr. Guinness, the majority of us went for the Chikken and Leek Pie with Mash, Stuffing Balls and Gravy which was a total beauty.

Simon chose the ‘Buff’ Wellington – Mushrooms, Nuts, Soy and Cranberry wrapped in Pastry also with Mash and Stuffing Balls.

The Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae sounded too good to pass up and I’m so glad we didn’t as it was soooo fine.

We would’ve loved to have tried a full roast with all the veg and (especially) vegan yorky puds but it was all pretty filling and for only ยฃ6 per dish you can’t really go wrong!
