Walking the length of the Thames in sections is the game. Gravesend to East Tilbury was the aim.
On certain stretches of the Thames Path it’s not unusual to walk for miles and not encounter a single sign of civilisation never mind a Vegan gem. Ludz and I will forage for twigs to dip in rogue condiments often found floating at the bottom of my handbag.
Not today!
As we headed down to the cheeky little Gravesend-Tilbury passenger ferry we stumbled across an absolute winner.
Vegan, Dairy Free, Lactose Free, Gluten Free, Egg Free, Soy Free, Nut Free Cakes, Cupcakes, Rocky Road, Flapjacks, Biscuits & Cookies, Doughnuts… Oh, and it doesn’t end there! They also offer a selection of savouries including Sandwiches, Paninis, Sausage Rolls and MAN ARE THEY GOOD!
I grabbed a ‘Tuna’ Mayo Sandwich and it was incredible!
Also, nabbed this tasty beaut of a Rainbow Cake.
Aaaaand a lil slice of Lemon Cheesecake.
It’s probably one of my favourite random finds since starting DV. Just gutted he lives all the way in Gravesend.
Well worth the mission from London though – defs check ’em out if you’re in the area.
I’ll be back!ย ๐
