Dirty Vegazine and Chalice In Wonderland.
The best duo since Ant & Dec.
The world of heavenly brews and the finest vegan junk collide as we tumble down the beer hole to eat stuff that may or may not make us bigger/smaller.
The Long Arm Pub & Brewery invited us along to check out their beers and vegan pub grub so that we did.
Long Arm brew crackin’ unfiltered beers from tank to glass. There are no additives or chemicals and a low carbon footprint as it’s produced and enjoyed in the same place. Now that’s fresh!
All beers brewed on site are vegan, as is the majority of their food menu!
We made our way through various bitchin’ brews including ‘Ryokucha Orenjibiru’ a glorious green tea Pale Ale, ‘Fallen leaves’ a totally tropical American Amber Ale (my fave FYI) and ‘Fandango’ a cheeky Citrus Session IPA.
Beers, of course, were accessorised with a range of vegan delights.
(Quite literally in the case of the Jumbo Onion Rings!)
Also on the menu…
Dinky Falafel and Vegan Cheese Sliders…
…Red Pepper and Courgette Sliders…
…and Vegannuggets with Chipotle Sauce.
The star of the show, without doubt, was this absolute beast…
The Long Arm VEGAN ‘Big Mac’ burger 😍 Big by name big by nature! It was surely a sight to behold!
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any tastier, out came the beer based espresso martinis!
Needless to say, the next morning was a desperate situation but we had a ball and regret nothing.
Check out the Long Arm’s site for more deets on this bangin’ boozer, and Chalice In Wonderland for the low down on the best beers to get your draaaank on with (not a vegan site so always check the veganness of beers).
I’m just going to leave you with these sexy buns.
